  • Platinum Plus, Lite, and Split Focus In-Store Active Sampling Demo Levels

    B2C

    Busy Bee Responsibilities:

    Busy Bee makes all arrangements before a demo.

    •Clients to ensure their products have made it to the shelves

    •Contacting stores to set up and confirm the best demo date and time.

    •Requesting Buyer or Department Head increase product orders at least five days before demo.

    • Negotiating a full shelf of product is displayed for demo as well as when demo is completed to increase residual sales.

    •Fully trained Bee executing 4 hours on-site for Plat. Plus (3+hours of active sampling) or 3 hours on-site for Plat. Lite (2+hours of active sampling)

    •Inventory, front, and face product.

    •Communicating with store department lead or Buyer for better placement/more facings.

    •Negotiating with the store for an increased product order for demo as well as when demo is completed to increase residual sales.

    •Comprehensive monthly summary and report

    •Basic administrative support

    •Weekly Client calendar updates

     

    Platinum Plus Investment: $195 per demo*

    Platinum Lite Investment: $175 per demo*

    **Split Focus Investment: Starting at $135-$155 per client product per demo.*

    **Split Focus Sampling only available if client or store has another client to refer to Busy Bee, or another current Busy Bee client is willing to opt-in. Each client’s products must complement one another and should not be competing or unrelated. Full demo fee will be charged if Bee arrives at the store to demo and one of the client’s products is not available to sample. Split Focus refers to the splitting of time between the two products simultaneously. It does not refer to splitting the pricing of our other levels in half.

    Platinum Premium Level In-Store Active Sampling Demos-B2C

    Busy Bee Responsibilities:

    • Contacting stores to set up and confirm the best demo date and time
    • Requesting Buyer or Department Head to order product at least five days before the demo(s)- (Clients to ensure their products have made it to the shelves)
    • Negotiating with the store for an increased product order for demo as well as when demo is completed to increase residual sales.
    • Fully trained Bee executing 4 hours on-site (3+hours of active sampling).
    • Communicating with store department lead or Buyer for better placement/more facings.
    • Negotiating a full shelf of product is displayed for demo as well as when demo is completed to increase residual sales.
    • Providing Client with a comprehensive monthly summary and report
    • Weekly Client calendar and recap updates
    • Retailer brand advocacy meetings (working with stores and buyers to assist client with sell-in). See IN-STORE BRAND AND PRODUCT MERCHANDISING AND COMMUNICATIONS VISIT
    • Contacting existing retailers for additional up-sell opportunities
    • Regular communication and coordination with client’s other media agencies and departments.
    • Weekly Client status calls
    • Additions or changes to your product(s) will be included on the training information at no extra cost.
    • Comprehensive administrative support (bi-weekly conference calls with Busy Bee Management)
    • Weekly training sessions conducted by our Busy Bee national trainers. This level is ideal for monthly programs

  • In-Store Demo Product Expert-B2C

  • Function: Educating consumers on product knowledge alongside store’s demo staff.

     

    Busy Bee Responsibilities:

    • 3-4 Hours On-Site 
    • No actual product sampling occurs, only educational interaction with consumers
    • When Busy Bee is working alongside a client representative or a 3rd party representative ('side-by-sides'), the client makes all arrangements before a visit.
    • When Busy Bee is conducting a solo visit, the education event will last 2.5-3 hours and Busy Bee makes all arrangements beforehand, contacting stores to set up and confirm the best date and time.
    • Fully trained Bee on-site executing product education.
    • Inventory, front, and face product.
    • Communicate with store department lead or Buyer for better placement/more facings.
    • Basic administrative support.
    • Weekly Client calendar and recap update.
    • Comprehensive monthly summary and report

    Investment: $150-$175

  • Product & Brand Training Liaison – B2B

  • Function: On-Site store presentation of your Brand’s offerings to store employees and team members with brand education and sampling

     

    Busy Bee Responsibilities:

     

    • 2 Hours On-Site
    • Setting up sampling and information station for store employees in the break room or other off floor location.
    • Fully trained Bee on-site executing product education & sampling to store employees. Can be solo or working alongside client.
    • Will leave behind sell sheets and other brand information for team upon completion.
    • Will follow up with store management 7 days upon completion for check-in and to encourage order placement.
    • Basic administrative support.
    • Weekly calendar and recap update.
    • Comprehensive monthly summary and report

     

    Investment: $120 (up to 2 hours on-site)

    *There are no guarantees with regard to total sales per demo, as there are circumstances beyond our control that can affect sales numbers (slow stores, severe weather, etc.)

    All In-Store Services Require:

    • A one-time training packet and recap document creation fee of $150 will apply to all new programs. Monthly recap updates and minor training adjustments are no charge. Fees will apply for entirely new focus product lines or brand and product changes. This fee will be agreed upon by both parties in advance of changes to the training packet. 
    • $40 per training call conducted. 25+ monthly programs require 2 calls on average per month.  Additional $40 calls may be required for larger demo numbers and more territories per round of demos requested.  Ongoing training is essential and required for a successful & growing demo program.
    • The client will either provide product to Busy Bee for sampling or approve reimbursable-purchases of sampling product on-site/in-store.
    • Event Asset Fulfillment to Bees (when and where applicable) can be fulfilled by the client, or Busy Bee can manage the whole process for you with our Event Asset Fulfillment services. (see EVENT SUPPLY LOGISTICS & ASSET MANAGEMENT).
    • Add $45 per hour for additional on-site hours requested.
    • Add $10 per demo for demos that require an Extra-Step-Prep. These would include—but not be limited to—demos that require heating up product (with toaster ovens, microwaves, skillets, etc.), blending, and multiple ingredient recipes.
    • Add $25 per demo for cooking demos. This fee applies to cooking demos (raw meats, fish, poultry, boiling water, and otherwise altering the structure of the product in order to serve safely to the public).  The use of proprietary appliances necessary for your demos will be quoted on a case-by-case basis (for example, using a Vitamix Blender instead of a basic blender).
    • Add $40 per demo for alcohol and cannabis demos-Additional fees may apply if specific handler's cards or insurance requirements are mandatory based on local or state policies.
    • Add $15 for cost-of-living-premium-cities-fee (Greater Seattle, San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Boston, Chicago, Hawaii & Metro NYC (Five Burroughs, NJ/CT suburbs of NYC, Chicago, and suburbs).
    • An administrative fee of 50% of the demo invoice may be charged if services requested cannot be completed due to conditions beyond the control of Busy Bee Promotions
    • An initial program of 10 demos or $1500 worth of in-store services required within a 30-day program commencement (no minimums thereafter).
